The super-criminal organization known as the 666 Committee is named after the number 666, the number that is forever linked to devil worshiping. How the 666 Committee was formed – and whether or not the Devil who is generally associated with the underworld realm known as Hell is linked to the criminal organization – remains a mystery. Initially, the 666 Committee was formed mainly to take over the world by using highly-advanced and independent-thinking android robots disguised as costumed super-villains and the criminal henchmen and scientists under their employ to do the 666 Committee’s dirty work, while the organization’s dozen leaders stayed in the shadows, making sure that nobody connected them to not only the disguised android robots and their human associates, but also many of the world’s crime syndicates and unscrupulous businessmen who have strong ties to the disguised android robots. Until recently, the fact that the 666 Committee’s existence was kept a secret from the entire world – including the crime lords who depended heavily on the organization’s disguised android robots – worked to the criminal organization's advantage. Ironically enough, it was one of those android robots – disguised as the super-criminal called Dr. Olympus – that would help start to threaten the 666 Committee’s existence. When Dr. Olympus ordered the kidnapping of Virginia district judge Philip Rhyser’s two children not long crime boss Alonzo “Brutus” Lang was sentenced to prison after he was found guilty of murdering several leading politicians, followed by ordering Judge Rhyser to address the United Nations assembly in New York City over a week later and force the world’s governments to surrender to Dr. Olympus immediately – the 666 Committee didn’t count on Judge Rhyser’s wife Wilma hiring Chameleons, Inc. to rescue their children, which they eventually did. In the wake of their rescuing Judge Rhyser’s children (and Judge Rhyser subsequently addressing the U.N. assembly, successfully urging the world’s leaders to defy Dr. Olympus’ iron will), the female detectives of Chameleons, Inc. learned of Dr. Olympus’ plan to teleport computerized weapon vehicles to twenty of the world’s capitals – including Washington, D.C. – and use them to destroy the cities and kill its populations, as well as the fact that Dr. Olympus was really one of the 666 Committee’s robot tools for conquest. Inside Dr. Olympus’ underwater headquarters off the southern California coast and underneath the Pacific Ocean, in the armory where the weapon vehicles were located, the female detectives not only confronted the 666 Committee’s leaders via a closed-circuit video screen linked to the video technology inside the organization’s secret mountain headquarters, but also permanently disabled the weapon vehicles that the 666 Committee had hoped to use the following morning. Furious as a result of what happened, the mysterious being who might or might not be the Devil caused a mysterious earthquake that destroyed the 666 Committee’s secret headquarters and killed its twelve leaders. As the female quintet learned later from Hans Rubinstein, a German-born scientist working for Dr. Olympus, the 666 Committee had already ordered the deaths of Dr. Olympus’ associates, whom they suspected of threatening the organization’s existence – in truth, the aforementioned targets who were murdered were unaware of the 666 Committee’s existence until the very end. After Professor Rubinstein and the assassin who attempted to kill him earlier but was subsequently subdued afterward exited the underwater headquarters via one of its teleportation ray cannons and surrendered to the authorities, the female detectives set time bombs throughout the building which exploded not long after they headed back to their Ventura headquarters, thus destroying Dr. Olympus’ underwater headquarters and making it impossible for any other criminals to use it in the future. Whether or not the 666 Committee will ever make a comeback after being defeated by Chameleons, Inc., as well as seek revenge on the detective agency, remains a mystery to all – except perhaps the certain unholy being who inspired the super-criminal organization.
